About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Jane Judy Studio website and the booking of any photography or videography services offered through it, including Real Estate Photography, Personal Shoots, and Events. By booking a session or using this website, you agree to the terms set out below.

Bookings and Payment

A 30% deposit is required to confirm any booking, with the remaining 70% balance due on delivery of the final photos or video. Accepted payment methods are listed at checkout. Jane Judy Studio reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking at its discretion, for example where a deposit is not received within the required timeframe.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled session may be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge. Cancellations made between 24 and 1 hour before a session will forfeit 30% of the session price. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before a session, or no-shows, will forfeit the full session price, reflecting the cost of a reserved slot that could not be filled elsewhere. Clients may reschedule a session online up to 24 hours before the scheduled time, subject to availability.

Delivery

Standard turnaround is 1 to 2 business days from the date of the shoot, with same-day delivery available on request where scheduling allows. Final galleries are delivered via a private link. Jane Judy Studio is not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside its control, including weather, venue access issues, or client unavailability on the day of the shoot.

Copyright and Usage Rights

Jane Judy Studio retains copyright over all photographs and video footage produced. Clients are granted a licence to use delivered images and video for personal or business use relevant to the purpose of the booking (for example, a real estate listing, a professional profile, or personal use). This licence does not extend to reselling, sublicensing, or claiming authorship of the work. Any use beyond this scope, including commercial redistribution, requires separate written permission.

Client Responsibilities

For real estate bookings, the client is responsible for ensuring the property is presentable and accessible at the scheduled time, and for providing any necessary access details (lockbox codes, tenant contact, etc.) in advance. For personal shoots and events, the client is responsible for arriving on time and providing accurate location and contact details at the time of booking.

Liability

Jane Judy Studio takes reasonable care in the delivery of all services but is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from a booking, including loss of business, missed listing deadlines, or dissatisfaction with subjective aspects of creative direction. Nothing in these terms limits any rights a client may have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to These Terms

Jane Judy Studio may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
